Affiliate

With respect to any Person, any Person who, directly or indirectly, Controls, is Controlled by, or is under common Control with, such other Person.

Buyer

The business entity soliciting Workers for a Ephemeral Task in WXET or indirectly through a third party using WXET on such entity’s behalf. In some circumstances, the Supplier may also be a Buyer.

"Company" or "WXET"

means The World Exchange of Ephemeral Tasks, a marketplace software platform operated by General Research Laboratories, LLC.

Complete(s)(d)

A Ephemeral Task executed and concluded by a Worker for a Ephemeral Task Opportunity as evidenced through WXET.

Ephemeral Task

An engagement, campaign, or other project defined by a Buyer, such as a survey, a recruiting effort, or some other cost-per-action effort, that has been defined by a Buyer and is sourced by one or more specific Supplier(s) on WXET.

Intellectual Property Rights

means any copyrights (including, without limitation, the exclusive right to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display and publicly perform the copyrighted work), trademark rights (including, without limitation, trade names, trademarks, service marks, and trade dress), and patent rights (including, without limitation, the exclusive right to make, use and sell), trade secrets, moral rights, right of publicity, authors’ rights, contract and licensing rights, goodwill and all other intellectual property rights (whether registered or not) as may exist now and hereafter come into existence and all renewals and extensions thereof, regardless of whether such rights arise under the law of the United States or any other state, country, or jurisdiction.

Member

Any Person initiating or executing a transaction on or subject to these Rules, either directly or indirectly, or any Person who is authorized to access or utilize WXET pursuant to the applicable User ID.

Payout Criterion

Of a Ephemeral Task means of determination that a Ephemeral Task Complete will become a irrevocable obligation by Buyer.

Personal Data

carries the same definition in the Applicable Laws and includes the term Personal Information as defined by the CCPA.

Reconciliation Window

Means a period equal to a rolling 14 day (20,160 minutes) window upon completion of the Ephemeral Task that the completion status may be altered by the buyer, removing the obligation for payment of the Ephemeral Task Complete.

Sample

Means access to Workers (also known as Respondents) who are made available by WXET Members acting as Suppliers in the WXET Platform to provide any Ephemeral Task Completes.

Sample Sold

Means the Sample the WXET Supplier sells to WXET Buyers for each Ephemeral Task Opportunity created by the WXET Buyer.

Supplier

Means any Member with a prequalified Workers who have consented to be Respondents in the WXET Platform.

Users

Mean the Member’s employees, representatives, consultants, contractors, or agents who have been granted access to use the WXET Platform on the Member’s behalf either via user identifications and passwords or via an API integration.

Worker(s)

Means a natural individual who has consented to participate in one or more Ephemeral Task Opportunities on WXET Member’s behalf, based on demographic data automatically transmitted to the WXET Platform by the Supplier, is automatically prequalified and thus directly routed to participate in the Ephemeral Task Opportunity.

"WXET Activity" or "WXET Completes"

Means any Ephemeral Task Opportunity occurring on the WXET Platform or via WXET APIs.

WXET API(s)

Means any application programming interface developed by WXET.

WXET Technology

Means WXET proprietary technology (including software, hardware, APIs, products, processes, algorithms, user interfaces, designs, and other tangible or intangible technical material or information) underlying the WXET Platform.
